Kevin Webber talks about receiving an incurable prostate cancer diagnosis and beating the odds.

In November 2014 Kevin was told he may only have two years to live following a diagnosis of incurable prostate cancer. He was just 49.

More than seven years on, he has dedicated his life to making the best memories for his family and friends and raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK by undertaking thousands of miles annual during multiple ultra-running challenges. His story is mind blowing and we caught up with him to hear more.

One in eight men will get prostate cancer, so it’s important to learn about your risk and what you can do about it.  You can check your risk using Prostate Cancer UK’s online risk checker available on their website [prostatecanceruk.org/riskcheck].

Ladies, don't be shy to gently nudge your partners, fathers or indeed any other loved ones into getting any worrying symptoms checked out. We definitely have a role to play.

Anyone with concerns about prostate cancer can also contact Prostate Cancer UK's Specialist Nurses on weekdays on 0800 074 8383 or online at www.prostatecanceruk.org.

Good luck with your latest challenge, Kevin. Anyone who wishes to donate and support can do so here.

Giving back

By shopping with us you'll be supporting other cancer patients. Each month we will use profits to treat one of the randomly selected C-List community members (aka YOU!) to something special. It might be a beauty gift or a fancy afternoon tea. So watch this space to see what we pull out of The-C-List goody bag. Oh and spread the word x
